Official Army Man

We made it to the army base this morning & got to see my son. They had been standing out in the hot sun at attention for hours before we got there. One poor soilder actually fainted from the heat. Oh the army. We had to go out to the formation & help our son put on his blue infantry rope, & I could not find him at first. All of those boys looked alike. They are all so young, some look like they should be in jr high still. I’m glad my son is with me now. We are going to go eat.

My son has graduated, hooah! He now belongs to uncle sam. He was in the big production at the graduation ceremony. They blew up stuff & marched around. At the end we went out to get them (as we were ordered by the DI) and walking through them they all looked so young, like babies, definitely not men. I hope the people in this country appreciate the sacrifice these young MEN make to protect our freedom & freedom of people in places that need it so much. We should all make an effort to thank a US soldier for their work they do & the freedoms they insure. Thank you all Army, Navy, Air Force, Marines & Coast Guard. While were at it; thanks to the Police, Fire Dept, Sheriffs, Corrections & everyone else that works day in day out keeping us safe. Thank you all!
