I wrote a big, nice review for this one & accidentally deleted it, so…
It was old, but good. The plot was pretty predictable & it was plagued with the same thing as most old movies, over-dramatization.
I mean, everything in the ‘old days’ was just over the top. I’m thinking of you “Gone with the Wind”.
The movie has been remade a BUNCH of times; I’m going to watch the newest one.
All in all, a decent movie with a good story, just needs updating for audiences that are not 1950’s innocent & naive.
